Storytime: 2-3 Year Olds

Storytime for Toddlers runs on Tuesdays from 10-10:30am. Each session includes stories, songs, finger plays, and a craft that is age appropriate. Parents must accompany their children. They are also encouraged to participate.

Storytime: 0-5 Year Olds (Open Class)

Our Open Class Storytime Programs run on Wednesdays from 1-1:30pm. Each session includes stories, songs, finger plays, and a craft that is age appropriate.

Art at the Library!

Join our own Library Assistant, Ben, as he helps patrons get in touch with their artistic side. He will be helping you create your very own masterpieces! ALL MATERIALS WILL BE PROVIDED. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Sign up at the main desk or give us a call at 860-228-9312.

Storytime Programs

libraryAdventure begins with the turn of a page!

Storytime sessions run from September to June in six-week block sessions. Registration is free and required in advance due to limited class sizes. Parents and caregivers may come into the library to register or call the Children’s department for more information. Waiting lists are available as classes fill.

  • Tuesday, 10am: “Toddlers” 2 to 3 years
  • Wednesday: 1pm: “The Family class” 0 to 5 years
  • Thursday, 10am: “Baby and Me” 0 to 2 years
