Teen Advisory Board
Description
The Douglas Library Teen Advisory Board (TAB) works with the library staff to determine the needs of Hebron's teen population and to reach out to local teens. The Advisory Board is involved in the following:
1. Recommending materials for purchase;
2. Discussing how the Douglas Library can meet the needs of Hebron teens;
3. Creating and planning programs for teens;
4. Setting up displays in the young adult section of the library;
5. Promoting the library to other teens.
How to join the Teen Advisory Board
The Teen Advisory Board is a great way to get involved in your community. Teens interested in joining should have the following qualifications:
1. Enjoy working with others in a team setting;
2. Make a commitment to spend at least two hours of time per month at the library;
3. Be between the ages of 12 and 18;
4. Be a Hebron resident;
5. Complete an application.
