The Douglas Library is located at 22 Main Street, on the Green, in Hebron, CT 06248. Our phone number is 860-228-9312 and our fax number is 860-228-4372.

Our business hours are:

Monday and Wednesday 1pm to 8pm
Tuesday and Thursday 10pm to 8pm
Friday Noon to 6pm
Saturday 10am to 3pm

We are closed on Sunday.

During the months of July and August, the library is closed on Saturday.

Borrowing Library Materials
A valid library card from your town of residence is required to borrow materials or use computers. Books, magazines and audio books are checked out for 2 weeks. A $.05 per day late charge is applied daily, 7 days a week. CD’s, DVD’s and videos are checked out for 2 days and must be returned inside, to this library. A $2.00 per day late charge is applied daily, 7 days a week. To ensure that the Library has an adequate supply of materials for all patrons, the above loan periods and fines apply to all patrons of the Douglas Library.

Interlibrary Loan 
If you would like a book or magazine, which the Douglas Library does not have in its collection, or which is currently unavailable, we will do an Interlibrary Loan. For more details, please ask at the service desks on either floor.

Computers
The library has full access to the Internet. Word processing and scanning are also available. Please check in at the desk before computer use. A valid library card from your town of residence is necessary for computer use.

Passes
The Library offers passes for reduced or free admission to many local attractions. A valid library card from your town of residence is required to use these passes. These are the passes we have available:
