The Douglas Library on the Internet

The Douglas Library - Directions and Hours of Operation

Library Services and General Information
Borrowing - If you are a Hebron resident, and are old enough to sign your name, you may have a library card.   All that is required is identification showing your Hebron address, and if you are younger than 9th grade, a parent or guardian to sign the form.  This card can be used in the Douglas Library of Hebron or most other public libraries in Connecticut.  If you live in another Connecticut town, your hometown library card can be used in Hebron.

Programs and Facilities - We have story hour, crafts, and entertainment programs for young people, and programs for adults in our meeting room.  We also have Internet user groups, gardening, and more.  In addition to space for adults and children to browse, read, and study, our library has a meeting room which may be used by local non-profit organizations.  The library is accessible to people with handicaps.

Library Passes - The library offers passes for reduced admission or free entry to various museums in the area. They can be checked out just like any material here. We have passes for the following places:

Mystic Aquarium Reduced Admission (except in July and August)
