Douglas Library of Hebron

Friends of the Douglas Library

The Friends of Douglas Library are book lovers, information seekers, readers, listeners and music and movie buffs. We treasure ideas and value the public library as a vital community resource. Through used book sales held four times a year, our ongoing Friends Boutique on the Library’s Main Floor, and a variety of other fundraising events, we provide materials, services and equipment for the library including:

  • New books, audio books, DVD’s and magazines
  • All Museum passes
  • Summer Reading Programs for children
  • Children’s special events

The Friends are a major non-profit volunteer support group for the Douglas Library. We are autonomous from the Douglas Library Association, the Board of Trustees, and the Town of Hebron.
